Warranty period: 12 months from date of purchase
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. Product covered
1. Definitions
In this Warranty, the term Products means:
- the REVVGAUGE Gauge Unit V1.0 complete assembly, including the display unit and integrated interface electronics; and
- any Revv Gauge supplied accessory included with the gauge unit at the time of purchase (including the supplied wiring loom and mounting hardware).
This Warranty does not cover separately purchased sensors, third-party components, or accessories not included with the gauge unit unless expressly stated at the time of purchase.
2. Product description
The REVVGAUGE Gauge Unit V1.0 is a customizable automotive gauge comprising a touchscreen display and integrated interface electronics. The unit provides regulated power, analog sensor acquisition, CAN bus interfacing, low-side output control, and a protected 5 V auxiliary output for vehicle instrumentation.
V1.0 revision note: Connector pins 3 and 4 are additional analog inputs (AIN5 and AIN6). This revision does not include a K-type thermocouple interface. Connecting a thermocouple directly to pins 3 or 4 is not supported and may damage the unit.

If the Purchaser acquired a Product for the purpose of resupply, then this Warranty shall not apply to that Product.
16. Unauthorised sales channels
In particular, the sale of a Product via an online auction, online store or other internet website by a party that is not an authorised distributor or reseller of the Product will be deemed to be a resupply within the meaning of the Australian Consumer Law and will render this Warranty void, as Revv Gauge has no control over the storage, handling, quality or safety of Products sold by such persons.

If any clause or part of a clause in this Warranty is illegal, unenforceable or invalid, that clause or part is to be treated as removed from this Warranty, but the rest of this Warranty is not affected.
Installation and use notes
Revv Gauge recommends that the REVVGAUGE Gauge Unit V1.0 be installed by a qualified auto electrician or technician familiar with automotive electrical systems.
- Fuse the VIN supply appropriately for the installation. The gauge unit includes onboard overvoltage and reverse-polarity protection, but correct vehicle-side fusing is still required.
- Route wiring away from heat sources and moving parts. Cover harnesses with suitable conduit where required.
- For CAN bus connections, join paralleled CAN H pins (5 and 8) and CAN L pins (6 and 7) as required for your vehicle topology. Enable the onboard 120 Ω termination jumper only when the gauge unit is installed at an end of the CAN bus segment that requires termination.
- Analog sensors: connect signal to the appropriate AIN pin; connect sensor return to pin 14 (GND). Use pin 15 (+5 V) only where the sensor requires a regulated 5 V supply, within the 200 mA gauge unit limit.
- Digital outputs (DOUT1, DOUT2) are open-drain low-side switches. Wire the load positive to the switched device supply; the gauge output switches the load to ground.
- Do not apply external voltage to the +5 V output (pin 15).
- This product is not suitable for marine applications.
